What is Qatarization?

Qatarization is the strategic drive towards increasing the number of Qatari nationals in employment in the country. At a company level, Qatarization is the process whereby employer organizations, like Q-Chem, implement programs to advance progress towards achieving industry-wide targets which seek to ensure that 50% of positions in the Energy and Industry sector of the country are held by Qatari nationals.
